TRANSFORMERS RID DVD BOXSET PART 1
First of all this is a beautiful Boxset and contains the first series/season of RiD which was 20 episodes and has some good episodes, some dull episodes and some fantastic episodes. One of the better episodes being "The Decepticons" which first introduced us to Scourge/Dark Convoy and other episodes such as "Commandos" and "Bullet Train To The Rescue" which introduces JRX/Rail Racer.

The Boxset is the first of two and contains 3 disks in total which have roughly 7 episodes on each disk with the last disk containing character profiles on characters such as Megatron and Prowl and others. The disks are held in clear plastic cases as shown in the pictures with disk one having an Autobot logo on the front, disk two having a Decepticon logo and finally disk three having a Predacon logo on the front.

The layout of the DVD's themselves is extremely basic as the menu just takes you to an option with which episodes to watch, so sadly no extras, no deleted scenes, no Japanese sound/voice options but there is the option for subtitles.

A very nice Boxset but would have been seriously better if ALL the episodes were released together as one set instead of forcing people to have to find part 1 and then hunt for part 2 which for some odd reason was extremely rare
and especially rare to find in the UK. Part 2 is much better and more sought after than Part 1 because the 2nd Boxset of RiD contains characters such as Fortress Maximus and Ultra Magnus and the episodes themselves are seen as much better than series/season one as some episodes are seen as the best the series has to offer.

This was the first part of the complete collection of "Transformers - Robots in Disguise" and was only ever released in the UK and China/Japan. There are various reasons that the Boxsets have never been released in America, one
reason is certain episodes contained scenes which involved buildings being destroyed which reminded America to much of Sept 11th. Another reason was because the company JETIX is owned by Disney and they wont allow the DVD's
to be released in the states, doesn't make very much sense but there are other reasons as well.

Well worth the money for both Boxsets as RiD was a return to vehicles after the events of Beast Wars/Machines and the series as a whole was much more accepted than what Armada was. If you have a region-free DVD player or a
laptop DVD Player then you should have no trouble watching these DVD's if your in America. Worth getting hold of and a very nice laid out DVD Boxset.
