This particular Tour for the Sector Seven
Mobile Unit hit 3 places in mid-Michigan. One happened to be Flint
which I live 15 minutes away from. So I left home around 11:30 in
the morning on Sunday and drove across town to the Showcase Cinemas
Flint West. Upon getting to the theatre's parking lot I saw a huge
black semi with guards and several workers dressed in TF 2007 Movie
hats and shirts. There was also the 2 men who portrayed Sector Seven
officials. The line was fairly short so that too was good. I was
dressed in my G1 Megatron shirt from Steve And Barry's and my
Decepticon Hat for the occasion.
Anyhow I went with my two younger brothers and my fiancé who you
will have seen later taking my picture next to the Prime poster
leaning against the semi. On either side of the semi were two
official movie posters. The one on the right of Prime and the other
of Megatron on the opposite side. In the middle was a screen built
into the side of the trailer playing non stop the final and official
Transformers trailer. It had two huge speakers booming on the sides
of the screen making it impossible to not hear it far out in the
parking lot.
Between the posters and the screens on the other sides were the
doors and lines to get into and out of the trailer. Inside were
several screens and several projections of the work that Sector
Seven does. They had many hydrogen tanks that they used in the movie
to re-freeze Megatron at some points.
Upon entering the agents welcome you and inform that all info on the
Transformers is purely an illusion by the insane. And in through 2
monitors comes another Sector Seven agent telling the other two that
he is patching thru something that they must see. Meanwhile the
other two in the Mobile Unit are talking on their "phones" and
saying negative, civilians are present and he is ignored and on
screen we see footage of the battle at Qatar. Qatar is the military
base that Scorponok and Barricade destroy. Meanwhile Scorponok is
under the sand and is seen attacking the military unit who survived
the previous encounter at their air force base in Qatar. So one
soldier calls AT&T to try and direct his call to the pentagon. In
reply the operator who is Arab like most tech support is anymore
replies he must punch in a credit card to proceed. So while they
attack Scorponok they also have to deal with this so it is really
funny.
The man in the military finally gets thru to the pentagon and sends
info for them to send in flyers to destroy Scorponok. They come in
and damage Scorponok who re-hides into the sand and then the clip
goes away.
The two Sector Seven agents reply that all we have seen is
completely classified and if we speak of it they will find out. They
know where we live and will hunt us down. LOL. And they end the tour
in saying that remember people, in this world, there is "more than
meets the eye".
I and my party exited and on the right were three free items, 2
posters and a coupon. The two posters were miniatures of the large
Prime and Megatron ones with a $5 off coupon for the new game at
Best Buy. The other card given out was for free merchandise for
getting 100+ people to see the movie at the same time in a group.
So anyhow all in all this boosted my enthusiastic nature on this
movie. Every thing I see further boosts my liking of this movie
despite the fact that the voices and looks aren't nearly the same.
BTW any questions that you'd like to ask please do. I will be happy
to answer anything so long as I remember it. :D
