This are is basically about the GMC TOPKICK
and where it is manufactured as well as what became of the actual
truck post movie.
The GMC TOPKICK is manufactured in Flint, MI USA. The particular GM
plant is also the only one that makes this particular type of truck.
I only know all this bit of information because my dad works at
Flint's GM Truck and Bus plant. So he informed me on the information
about it pre-movie.
As for post movie, anyone wonder what happened to the truck that
made good ol' Ironhide? Well look no further folks. My dad earlier
this week had returned to work from his vacation time and discovered
that the TOPKICK from the movie was shipped to the plant one more.
It now sits on display for all who work there for them to admire.
Around the middle of the week he and a buddy of his took some
digital camera pictures of it. Although not the greatest of
qualities, it does show and represent the exact vehicle.
