With the arrival of the Transformers to the Giant Planet were given more characters in the Unicron/Primus Battle for the Universe. The Giant Transformers consist of the last few survivors called Metroplex, Menasor and Quickmix. The Decepticons have managed to get Menasor on there side and he is one powerful foe.

Robot mode looks amazing and seriously powerful, Menasor has a giant drilling hand with sound effects (batteries required however) and also a giant gripping claw with another drill that can come out of that section once the Mini-Con has been attached to the connection peg. This area also makes a sound effect but yet again it needs batteries to work, it seems strange because with the Cybertron/Galaxy Force line you get half the line who already came with batteries included and then half the line without batteries.

Menasor has a very large selection of rotation and movement when compared to more focused characters such as Starscream or Vector Prime. In comparison Menasor has almost twice the articulation in some areas as the arms can rotate in almost any direction and the same for the legs and the knee sections. The only area of Menasor which does not rotate is the waist section but this is because of the Transformation method of the toy and also because of the Mini-Con section of the chest area of Menasor.

The chest section of the robot mode opens up and reveals the Mini-Con partner Heavy Load who stays inside of the chest area also in robot mode. Once transformed the Mini-Con Heavy Load becomes a small type of bull dozer vehicle (think of G1 Constructicons Bone Crusher) and Heavy Load can also connect to several places on Menasor such as the lower leg area and both arms. There is a small type of cannon on the top area of Menasor once Transformed into vehicle mode and with some fiddling you find Heavy Load can look as if he is in control of this mounted cannon of Menasor as shown in the pictures here.

The vehicle mode is a type of drilling machine but it doesn't really resemble anything on Earth but then again these guys are meant to be from the Giant Planet. The transformation is extremely simple yet the back of the packaging seems to think this is a level 4-5? In reality this is nothing more than a level 2 at best, basically the figures legs get split and rotate sideways and then the back wings fold together to make the front grill of the vehicle mode.

Menasor comes boxed in the ʽPrimus Unleashedʼ packaging, basically this was the same as most of the Cybertron style packaging except for a sticker that said ʽPrimus Unleashedʼ on the front window. Either way the figure came boxed in the Cybertron style packaging with images on the back of robot mode and vehicle mode.

A great figure to the line and another good large Transformer to add to the Decepticon ranks of the Cybertron toy line. Would have been nice if the transformation had a little more to it however.
